Biography
Anna Pettersson Westerberg has been Director General of the Swedish Pensions Agency since 2024 and is a former State Secretary with extensive experience in economic and social policy.
She was appointed on two occasions to State Secretary at the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs: from 2010 to 2014 and again from 2022 to 2024.
Anna Pettersson Westerberg has held senior management positions at the Swedish National Audit Office and served as Chief Economist at Insurance Sweden. She was also Head of Office for the Moderate Party's parliamentary secretariat from 2019 to 2022.
In addition, she has held several board positions in key financial sector organisations, i.e. serving as Deputy Chair of the Board of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority and a Board Member of minPension i Sverige AB.
